Natasha Suri tests positive for COVID-19; admitted to hospital in Mumbai

The Indian actress has been tested COVID positive yesterday. There have been a lot of celebrities of Bollywood tested positive of coronavirus. Now, Natasha Suri has joined the list.

Natasha Suri is the former miss world India. She also won the Femina miss world India in the year 2006. Before winning Miss India, she had won several other beauty contests like the Navy Queen, Miss Maharashtra, and Get Gorgeous-1 on Channel V’s National Supermodel hunt.

She is tested positive a day back. She says “Around six days ago, I had gone to Pune for some urgent work. After I came back, I fell ill and had a fever, sore throat, and weakness. I underwent a test three days ago, which came positive. Currently, I am in-home quarantine. I still have a fever and weakness. I am on medication and also taking immunity boosters. I live with my grandmother and sister, so I will get them tested, too.”

As she tested positive she could not attend her upcoming film’s promotion. Her upcoming film Dangerous is set to release on MX player and the film promotion will be held this week. The actress feels very bad about not able to attend the function.

She shares, “The promotions were to begin from August 10, and I am very sad that I won’t be able to participate in them. Nonetheless, I am excited about the project, sharing screen space with some very good actors, and working with such a great team. I want to dedicate my performance to the film to my mother. Everything that I do in my life is to make her proud, that’s always been my aim. I believe that every opportunity that has come to me is because of her blessings. This film, too, is also a blessing from her.”
