Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to play the role of Bal Thackeray in the upcoming biopic. As we all know that an actor Nawazuddin is one of the most versatile actors in a Bollywood industry. Earlier, we all have seen him giving some exceptional performances in the movies like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Baadlapur’, ‘Raees’ and we all just wish for him that he continue to do so.
No matter what role is he playing he seeps into the role so well and effortlessly that with his role he spread the magic both with his words and with his actions. According to the recent reports, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to be part of a biopic, which will be based on the political party Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray and he is known as one of the strongest political personalities in Maharashtra.
Sources reveal that the official announcement will be made at the event which will be going to happen on December 21, in Mumbai. The event will boast the presence of the legendary star like Amitabh Bachchan and when asked the actor Nawazuddin he has refused to comment on anything as if now.
Earlier, there were rumors that the Smita Thackeray is producing the movie, which will be based on the life of the Thackeray and will be also featuring Amitabh Bachchan and he has been considered as to play the lead role. However, there were many other contenders that include like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Whether this is the same film is still not known.
According to the recent reports, the biopic will be produced by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and the movie will be produced under the banner of Rauters and Entertainment. Besides this, it has also been surfaced that the biopic on the Balasaheb will be directed by the MNS Leader Abhijeet Panse. This movie is not the first movie which has been inspired by the life of the Balasaheb Thackeray.
Earlier, also Amitabh Bachchan played the role in the movie titled ‘Sarkar’ and that movie was also based on the life of the great politician. That movie was directed by the Ram Gopal Verma and there was another movie which came out in Marathi and has been titled ‘Balkadu’ and was released in the year 2015. However, from the quite few time, it has been seen that the biopics are the trend of the Bollywood even if we talk about the sportsmen, politicians to gangster, director have time and they are again tried to lure the audience to the theatres by using this formula. Let’s see further whether this movie works for them or not.
