Shweta Tripathi Sharma who recently completed her Tamil debut film ‘Mehandi Circus’ will next be seen alongside incredible actor Nawazuddi Siddiqui in the upcoming film ‘Raat Akeli Hai’.
This will mark as the second collaboration of Shweta Tripathi with Nawazuddin Siddiqui after ‘Haraamkhor’ that won both of them much acclaim. ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is a crime thriller set in rural India where Shweta is essaying an important role.
Speaking about the same, Shweta said, “Acting alongside Nawaz bhai is learning. He is a master of the craft and makes you look good by just being in the same fame. I take this as an honor and opportunity to be able to work with him again in the film ‘Raat Akeli Hai’.”
The actress also added that ‘Haraamkhor’ was supposed to be her debut film in Bollywood as it was shot before the making of ‘Masaan’, however, it released later.
”I feel fortunate to have made my debut alongside Nawaz Bhai”, Shweta said.
‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is currently being shot with both Nawazuddin and Shweta in Lucknow. The film also features actors like Radhika Apte, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Aditya Srivastava. Nawazuddin will essay the role of a cop, ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ is helmed by debutant Honey Trehan.
