We recently saw actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of a cop in Honey Trehan’s Raat Akeli Hai. The film released on Netflix to decent reviews and as usual Nawaz got applauds for his role. Not one to rest on his laurels, the actor has now announced his next venture. The film titled ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ is going to be a light-hearted romantic film and his next project.
Director, Kushan Nandy is helming the project. The film will be shot in Lucknow, Benaras, and Mumbai. It’ll start its shooting next year in February.
Nawaz announced the film to his fans on Twitter, posting the following tweet :

Director of the film, Kushan Nandy talked about it and elaborated :
“Jogira Sara Ra Ra celebrates the joie de vivre of an oddball couple, their fancies and madness, set against the milieu of small-town India or what I choose to call – the more glitzy and exuberant India.”
Ghalib Asad Bhopali has written the film, while Naeem A. Siddiqui producing the film under Touchwood Multimedia Creations.
This will also be the first time that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will work with an actor, Neha Sharma. Neha’s last film was Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji, which released last year.
