Till now, everyone was awaiting the news of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming film, Serious Men’s release date. The much-awaited film is coming out on October 2, 2020, on Netflix.
The official Twitter handle of Netflix India posted the following tweet and revealed the date :

Serious Men is a film about a man who is an underachiever, who tries to fulfill his dream of becoming rich after discovering that his son, is a boy-genius.
While the film is coming out on Oct 2, this is the first time that Nawazuddin is working with the director, Sudhir Mishra. Talking about working with him, Nawaz said :
“This is my third project with Netflix and returning to the streaming service always feels like a homecoming. I am excited about this film as I waited almost 20 years to work with Sudhir Mishra. It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait for the audience to watch Serious Men and join this journey with me, this Gandhi Jayanti.”
Apart from Nawaz, the film also stars Aakshath Das, Shweta Basu Prasad, Nassar, and Indira Tiwari in important roles. Serious Men is based on Manu Joseph’s book of the same name.
Last time the audience saw Nawazuddin in Netflix’s Raat Akeli Hai alongside, Radhika Apte. While Sudhir Mishra’s last film was Daas Dev, released in 2018.
We’ll finally get to see Nawaz in a new role as a father in the film. At least something is good amidst this pandemic.
