The professor and his crew will make a comeback, one last time. They still have to prepare and execute their final heist. This one might be the biggest, deadliest and most exciting one. By now, you all must have realised that I am talking about ‘Money Heist’. I’ve got a good news for you all, the series has been renewed by Netflix for its fifth and final season.
The streaming giant shared this news via their various social media handles. The final season is going to include 10 episodes. Sharing the news on Instagram, the official handle of Netflix captioned it as “Do you have your mask ready? You’re going to need it one last time ???? #MoneyHeist Season 5, confirmed ✅. ”

The series showrunner, Alex Pina talked about the upcoming final season and said :
“We have spent almost a year thinking about how to destroy the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes? How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters? The result is the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”
The show has reached a fandom, enjoyed previously by Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Peaky Blinders. Several memes have been spawned using the scenes from the show, merchandises have been created and its song ‘Bella Ciao’ has become an anthem in itself.
Money Heist stars Úrsula Coberó, Álvaro Morte, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Enrique Arce, Darko Peric, Hovik Keuchkerian, Luka Peros, Belén Cuesta, Fernando Cayo, Rodrigo de la Serna, Najwa Nimri and y José Manuel Poga. While, season 5 will see Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado joining its cast.
