The new poster for the upcoming comedy-drama movie titled ‘Padman‘ has been released today. The movie which is directed by R Balki. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan will appear in a special role. The movie will be produced by Twinkle Khanna‘s newly formed production house Mrs. Funnybones Movies.
Today, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh released the new poster for the upcoming movie titled ‘Padman’ on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte… Here’s the new poster of #Padman… R Balki directs…26 Jan 2018 release.”

The makers of the movie have released the new poster from the movie Padman. In the poster, actor Akshay Kumar can be standing on a pile of cotton and that looks like a set-up for making the sanitary pads. The poster also has a tagline saying that the ‘Superhero hai yeh pagla’.
The comedy-drama movie is said to be based on the life of the Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham—the man whose initiative to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life. The movie is making the right noise for bringing the lesser talked issue and this has also has been considered a taboo in many parts of the country.
The director of the movie has last directed 2015 release ‘Ki and Ka’ and about his upcoming project he said that this movie is going to be very interesting as the movie ‘Sholay’. In a recent interview, he said that Muruganantham’s life itself was equal to the movie ‘Sholay’. The movie is said to be a big entertainer as the biggest masala entertainer. He feels that when your life is so entertaining then why do you have to add entertainment.
The movie ‘Padman’ is all set to release on January 26, 2018.
