‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi‘ is an upcoming romantic comedy movie, which is directed by Sanjay Chhel and produced by Bharat Patel of Bholenath Movies. The movie features Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vir Das, Payal Ghosh and Prem Chopra. This is the first time when Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal will be seen together after 20 years.
Yesterday, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the new poster for the movie titled ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’ on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “#PatelKiPunjabiShaadi trailer out tomorrow [22 Aug 2017]… Sanjay Chhel directs… 15 Sept 2017 release… New poster:”

Talking much about the movie ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’, it is a story of a Punjabi boy which is being played by Rishi Kapoor and a Gujarati boy, which is being played by Paresh Rawal. It is a love story, which will explore the humour behind the wedding of two people from different culture. In the movie, Paresh would be seen playing the role of a strict father, while Rishi will be playing the role of a carefree father. Rishi’s son Vir Das wants to get married to his neighbour Payal Ghosh (South Indian actress playing the role Paresh Rawal’s daughter). But Payal’s father is quite against for this marriage because Vie belongs from a Punjabi family. However, the concept of the movie is nothing new.
The movie is all set to release on 15 September 2017.
