Nitesh Rana from Balia, UP won the first season of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ after a high energy performance at the grand finale. Nitesh, also known as Bholu Raja is the youngest in the family, was awarded a cash prize of ₹2.5 lakhs along with a scholarship from Sunrise Foods worth ₹1 lakh. The show was broadcasted by Zee Entertainment Enterprise Limited’s number one Bhojpuri Channel, Big Ganga.

The finale of the show was packed with entertainment as top Bhojpuri celebs like Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua”, Anjana Singh, Madhu Sharma, Shyamli, Vinay Anand and Amrapali Dubey, made it a memorable evening for everyone.

The show made the participants go through weeks of assessments and multiple rounds to claim the title. Tusha Banl from Gonda, UP was announced as the first runner up and won a cash price of ₹1.5 lakh. Suraj Kumar from Chunnar UP was announced as the second runner up, won a cash prize of  ₹1 lakh. The contestants of the show were mentored by best-known Bhojpuri singers like Manohar Kumar, Rini Chandra, Mamta Raut and Vikas Tiwari who guided each one of them and helped them to polish their art.

The show was hosted by Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan. The judges’ panel included renowned artists like Megha Sriram Dalton, the folk singer and Coke Studio Artist, Aishwarya Nigam and Music director Vinay Bihari.

Until this year, there was no platform for kids of the region to showcase their talents. Big Ganga broke the pattern by providing the biggest platform to talented kids. The show gained a lot of popularity and support from the viewers as well.
