November witnessed one of the most awaited, most expensive Hindi movie, release and become the biggest flop of all times. ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ was released on Diwali and outrightly rejected by the audience.

However, the film had a great opening with Rs 50 crores in its kitty on the first day of its release. But bad word of mouth and negative reviews, changed the game and the numbers gradually dropped with each passing day. TOH worked very hard to stay in the game which it already lost in its opening week.

Along with TOH few more movie released this month, which also turned out to be big disappointments for viewers. Two of them were Sunny Deol starrer ‘Mohalla Assi’ and ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’ collected Rs 1.60 crore and Rs 6 crore respectively in their first week. ‘Pihu’ featuring 2-year old as a protagonist bagged Rs 2.50 crore in its first week.

For a disappointing November, October released ‘Badhaai Ho’ came for rescue, as a knight in shining armour. Ayushmann Khurrana starrer stood tall even after six weeks of its release and made to the list of top ten highest grossing movies of 2018. ‘Badhaai Ho’ smashed several records at box office and minted total Rs 134.65 crore .

Just as the month was about to end Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 was released. Being the most expensive film in the history of the Indian Cinema, it opened up with a blast. Breaking and creating many records, 2.0 opened up with Rs 20 crore in just Hindi version. Overall box office collection of its first day is yet to be calculated.
