Nushrat recently expressed her battle with depression during the initial rough days of her career. She recovered from it with the support of her family and friends.
Nushrat had kick started her career in 2006 with ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’. It was followed by her role in Dibakar Banerjee’s found footage anthology film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha.’
But her breakthrough role proved to be Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ in 2011 and its sequel, with Kartik Aryan.
Nushrat again reunited with Luv with ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, which proved to be a huge box-office success.
Her latest outing, ‘Dream Girl’ has managed to impress both moviegoers and critics alike, with a 100 crore figure.
The ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actress will next appear in an item number in the upcoming ‘Marjaavaan’ and is currently filming for Hansal Mehta’s ‘Turram Khan’ with Rajkummar Rao.
