A director’s faith in his actor is what drives the actor to do his/her best work. Prabhas is already a star, but a very impressive actor too. His next film is epic ‘Adipurush’, in which the actor is playing the role of Lord Rama. Om Raut, of Tanhaji: The Unsung warrior fame is directing the film.
The director talked about Prabhas playing the role, with whom he is excited to work. In an interview he said :
“Ever since I watched Baahubali, I was impressed by Prabhas. He is so subtle that we can relate and feel the depth of his characters. Adipurush is my dream project and dreams of a director cannot be accomplished without a team. I have Prabhas to help me translate my vision on screen and our producer, Bhushan Kumar has been a pillar of strength and understanding with his unconditional support through this initial phase of our journey. It will be a great chance to work with both of them.”
Further, he added,
“I am very excited to be on the sets with Prabhas. While we were discussing the film, he showed a lot of enthusiasm about the storyline and has already started the prep for the same. He is meant for essaying larger-than-life roles, and I am sure we as a team will deliver the best product to the audience,”
Producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair are producing the film and it will release in 2022.
Prabhas also has Radhe Shyam along with Pooja Hegde as his next film and also Nag Ashwin’s untitled film.
Adipurush’s other cast members are yet to be decided. Work on it is currently on.
Superstar, Prabhas is known for his role in SS Rajamouli’s epic Baahubali.
