Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul Rahoof’s much talked about film ‘Oru Adaar Love‘ has failed to live up to the expectations of the audiences and has received an average rating from the critics as well. The lead actress of the film, Priya Prakash became an overnight sensation after the wink scene from the movie became viral.
‘Oru Adaar Love’ was also released in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada along with its original in Malayalam, due to the hype and curiosity generated by its promo. The films Telugu version is called ‘Lovers Day’ which has been censored with U/A certificate.
The film is a new-age love story drama, which revolves around class 12th students. The film presents a love triangle between Priya Prakash, Roshan Abdul, and Noorin Shereef. The movie makes one think about the differences between love, infatuation, and attraction.
Roshan is in love with Priya will all his teenage fantasies, both the actors essay the character with their real names. Roshan’s only mission in the film is to win Priya and his partners in the task are his school friends, including his best friend, Gadha John (Noorin Shereef). The major story is from a male point of view, except Gadha’s character.
The movie has all commercial elements from colorful songs to biggest trump card, viral sensation Priya Prakash. But the actress didn’t get much screen time, so it is hard to judge her acting potential. Noorin stands out in the movie with her convincing performance as her character had some substance. The viewers are hooked to the film with some unpredictable twists in the story.
