Padmaavat

After all the controversies Bhansali finally gets to narrate his poem. Padmaavat hit the theatres on 25th January. A piece of art, unimaginable scale with every frame being a treat is finally free of the controversial hardships. More than the art it shows the valour, pride, sacrifice, and bravery of Rajputs from start.

Deepika Padukone was extremely overwhelmed and emotional after the release. She said that despite the movie going through all the controversies when it was finally played on screen the kind of reaction she received from the audience and critics was overwhelming. She believes that there is a time for everything and the reaction has been phenomenal, which is the best response she and the team could provide to anyone who stood up against them. She is very excited and looking forward to the box office numbers as she believes it is going to be earth-shattering.

On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor expressed that he felt like an underdog as the character he portrayed wasn’t well known to the people. He said that Everyone deserves an opportunity before being judged, to which even the Supreme Court agrees and therefore with the movie as a platform Supreme Court is set to discuss that there will be no ban for any films. He continued by stating that no one is forced to watch a movie and so there should be no force against playing it to0 as that is what democracy represents. He says that he is thankful and honoured for this opportunity and the kind of review the movie has received.

Ranveer Singh was all praises for Sanjay Leela Bhansali for making the period drama Padmaavat and thanking him for the career he has made today. He went on to twitter to say the following:

“I saw Padmaavat in 3D IMAX last night.

I am so overwhelmed with the film at this point that words fail me. I feel immensely blessed.

I am so proud of my team. TEAM PADMAAVAT for the win! High tens and monster hugs to everyone!

I am relieved and happy with the reactions to my performance. Thank you all for your kind and generous praise. Sanjay Sir has given me a gift of a character that I will forever be indebted to him for in my life, more than I already am. You have shaped me into the artist that I am, Sir. I love you.

For me, the sheer toil of our film’s team has translated as magic on the big screen. And today on the eve of the release of our beloved film, I wish you all a Happy Republic Day in advance and invite you all to the cinema halls. I am proud to be part of a film that our whole country can be proud of. Jai Hind.”

After the first paid show the reaction of the audience was overwhelming when continued to praise the performances and even agreed that there wasn’t anything controversial. They all praise for Ranveer’s performance where they stated that Ranveer Singh stood out in the role of the demonic Allauddin Khilji and seems to own the character. A character so menacing and manipulative had the audience supporting him with whistles tells a lot about the pedigree of his acting and performance.

Overall to sum it up, it’s not a movie but a journey..so expect a little bumpy ride but be rest assured to get where you were destined to go… And that’s what cinematic brilliance should be
