The release date for upcoming comedy movie titled ‘Fukrey Returns‘ has been updated. Now, the movie has been preponed to its original date of December 8. The movie is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment. The movie is a sequel to 2013 film ‘Fukrey’. It features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Priya Anand, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha. It is almost been four long years since the first installment of the movie ‘Fukrey’ got released.
Yesterday, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the new release date for the movie on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “#FukreyReturns to release on the original release date: 8 Dec 2017… Check out its new poster… It’s wacky…”

Earlier, the movie was slated to release on December 15, but now the makers of the movie have decided to release the movie a week before. This has been done because the movie, ‘Padmavati’ has been removed from its December 1 release date as the movie has failed to get the clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification on time.
About the new release date of the movie, producer, Ritesh Sidhwani says that even earlier the movie is meant to release on December 8 only, even the teaser said 8th. But the makers of the movie have moved up because of the movie ‘Padmavati’ which was shifted to December 1 and they needed a two-week gap after the release of the movie ‘Padmavati’. Now, the movie ‘Padmavati’ is not releasing on December 1 so the makers of the movie have decided to go back to their original plan.
The movie ‘Fukrey returns’ is all set to hit the screen on December 8, 2017.
