The three minutes long video will show us the vast expanse of Chittor’s fort. In on of the scene, Deepika Padukone can be seen sewing Shahid Kapoor’s turban and after a minute Ranveer Singh makes a fleeting appearance in the trailer. While Ranveer is mostly seen in the battleground and he is just looking perfect as the obsessive and ambitious invader.

The makers of the movie have released the trailer at 13.03. The makers chose such timings because Maharawal Ratan Singh (role played by Shahid Kapoor) and Alauddin Khilji (role played by Ranveer Singh) started their battle in 1303 AD. That is the reason why the makers have released the trailer at such timings.

The movie ‘Padmavati’ will be based on the life of the ruthless Alauddin Khilji and on his attempts to get the beautiful Rani Padmini of Chittor. All the three actors have done justice to their role and no doubt that this movie is going to be the biggest movie of 2017.

However, the movie ‘Padmavati’ is based on the 14th century. The ruler Alauddin Khilji fell in love with the Rani Padmini, she was the queen of Chittor. She chooses her honor over her life and she along with the other women of Chittor killed themselves by leaping into a fire and this practice usually calls as a Jauhar.

The movie ‘Padmavati’ is all set to release on December 1, 2017.
