After releasing a short poetry around the film yesterday, the makers have today released the first look poster of the upcoming film Panga. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari took to her social media account to share the poster and wrote, “Jo sapne dekhte hain woh Panga lete hain. Jaya ki kahaani hum sab se judi hai.” She also shared that the trailer of the film will be out on 23 December.
The poster features Kangana Ranaut clad in a simple saree, wearing a bindi and sitting on a sofa. With her infectious smile and an aura of ordinariness, Ranaut looks impressive. She has already proved herself as a great performer in the past. It would be interesting to see so as to what does she bring on the big screen this time.

Earlier today, Rangoli Ranuat, manager and sister of Kangana, shared on her Twitter page that Kangana would be playing the role of a mother in Panga. She wrote, “Kangana says when she was new, the biggest insult to an actress was to be approached for Maa ka role, it deeply disturbed her, after playing a mother in successful Manikarnika she is all set to be a mother again.”
Besides Kangana, Panga also features Jassi Gill, Neena Gupta, Richa Chadda and Pankaj Tripathi. The sports drama revolves around the life of a Kabaddi player.
Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and produced by Fox Star Studios, the film is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on 24 January next year.
