On the work front, Bhumi is gearing up for the release of her upcoming romantic comedy ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ directed by Mudassar Aziz and co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
The film is an official remake of the 1978 film of the same name by B.R. Chopra that starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta.
The makers recently released a song titled “Dheeme Dheeme” which has become popular with over 11 million views on YouTube.
The film was recently marred into controversy due to a dialogue in the trailer that made fun of marital rape. It was later removed and Bhumi apologised for it.
She was recently seen playing the role of a girl with dark complexion on Amar Kaushik’s comedy film ‘Bala.’
Co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam, the film and her performance has met with critical acclaim and strong box-office results.
