People Magazine loves to honor the sexiest people in the world. Doing so again this year, they have named Hollywood’s Michael B Jordan as the Sexiest Man Alive 2020. Last year American singer, John Legend was bestowed with this honor.
The magazine’s latest cover featured Michael B Jordan, who is happy to receive this recognition. Talking about it with the magazine, Michael said :
“It’s a cool feeling. You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.’ But it’s a good club to be a part of.”
This year Michael didn’t have any film releases. However, he has inspired millions of people ever since the start of his career, which is why Time Magazine named him in their list of the 100 Most Influential People of 2020.
The actor’s last release was Just Mercy which was released in 2019. It featured him alongside Jamie Foxx and was a biographical legal drama. Jordan portrayed the role of the real-life defense attorney, Bryan Stevenson in the film. His, Foxx’s performances were praised by the critics and the film turned out to be a success.
Michael first came into prominence with director Ryan Coogler’s film, Fruitvale Station (2013), a tragic drama. Thereafter he went on to star in Sylvester Stallone’s directed Creed (2015), a spin-off of Rocky, where he played the role of Adonis Creed the son of, Rocky’s friend and once rival, Apollo Creed.
In 2018 he reached the heights of zenith with MCU’s Black Panther in which he portrayed the villain, Erik Killmonger.
Next up, Michael has Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. In the film, he will play the role of US Navy Seal, John Clark. It will release on Amazon Prime.
