Delhi Court received a petition on Thursday, to file an FIR against the actors of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ who were accused of having made a casteist remark during the promotions of their film.

The matter is currently to be considered on February 27th and sought a reply from the Delhi Police on the matter.

The complaint registered by the Patiala court was quoted saying that the actors had committed a ‘great atrocity’.

Harman Singh, the chairman of the Commission for Karamcharis said that Khan had primarily made the remark, and Katrina Kaif joined in with him in abusing and insulting the person concerned. He was quoted saying, “rather than protesting at the offensive and insensitive statement joined the accused number 1 (Khan) in insulting and abusing the victim through her conduct.”

The remark was made on a reality show, that also has Shilpa Shetty as a judge on the panel.  On the show, referring to himself and comparing himself  Salman Khan had jokingly compared his dancing skills to a ‘bhangi (sanitation worker)’.

The film has already released in December last year and has been reacted to with positive comments.
