On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday as he turned 75 today. Narendra Modi said that the whole nation hailed his cinematic brilliance and he supports many social causes.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan won many accolades in his career spanning over four decades and which also includes four National Film Awards. In 1984, the government of India honored Amitabh with the Padma Shri award, in 2001 he was honored with the Padma Bhushan award and in 2015 he got Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to Hindi cinema.
