Pooja Batra is related to second lieutenant Arun Khetrapal! Shares THIS picture

Actress Pooja Batra has been away from the limelight for a while now but is very active on social media where she keeps uploading her pictures.

She recently took to her Instagram profile to inform her fans that she is related to second lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, who had died during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

Pooja shared his portrait and captioned it: “I never toot about my family or my lineage but this I gotta.. Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal was an officer of the Indian Army and a posthumous recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military decoration for valour.

He was killed in action in the Battle of Basantar in the Battlefield of Shakargarh during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.

It was recently announced by director Sriram Raghavan that he is making a biopic on Arun with Varun Dhawan playing the lead.

Pooja, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2017 psychological thriller ‘Mirror Game’ directed by Vijit Sharma and co-starring Parvin Dabbas and Omi Vaidya.

In July this year, she married actor Nawab Shah, whom she had been dating for years, according to Arya Samaj traditions.
