Pooja Hegde is elated currently as her much awaited film ‘Valmiki’ is going to release in two days. It is an action thriller film directed by Harish Shankar and features Varun Tej, Atharvaa, Pooja Hegde and Mirnalini Ravi in the lead roles. The trailer and looks of the characters are all well received by the audience and it will be exciting to see how the movie performs in theaters.

Talking about Pooja’s role in the movie, director Harish Shankar called her ‘most important character in the second half’. Harish said, “her character and song are only put in because the story demands it, not for commercial reasons.”
