Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming Nag Ashwin film just got bigger. A tall man with a deep baritone voice has joined them, any guesses who this man might be? Yes, none other than, Megastar, Amitabh Bachchan has joined the cast of their multilingual film.
Making the announcement was Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house behind the film, who tweeted :
“Welcoming with a full heart, the pride of a billion Indians. The Amitabh Bachchan. Our journey just got BIG-ger!”
The lead actor of the film and south star, Prabhas is happy with Big B coming on board for the film. He shared his happiness and excitement on Instagram, captioning his post as, “Finally, a dream coming true…sharing screen space with the legendary @amitabhbachchan Sir!” His post was as follows :
In an earlier conversation about the film, C Aswini Dutt, founder, and producer of Vyjayanthi Movies had said :
“This film is a golden opportunity for us to cement our place in the annals of Indian Cinema history. It is also an incredible opportunity to enthrall the Indian audiences like never before, through the coming together of such extraordinary cinematic talents”.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen along with Ayushmann Khurrana in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo. While he also awaits the release of his films Brahmastra and Chehre. Right now, Big B is busy with Sony TV’s reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
It is moments like these, which make films great. Amitabh Bachchan has shared screen space with Deepika Padukone in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku. This is the first time that Prabhas and Amitabh will share the screen together. Seeing the two tall men of Indian cinema will be a delight.
