Prachi Tehlan is an Indian netball and basketball player. She is a former caption of the Indian Netball Team which represented India in the Commonwealth Games. She is the brand ambassador of Netball Development Trust- India for 2011-2017. Prachi started her acting career with a TV series “Diya Aur Baati Hum” on Star Plus in January 2016. She has even done a Punjabi film titled “Arjan” opposite Roshan Prince, which was directed by Manduip Singh.
After the success of her first Punjabi movie, Prachi is all set for her new Punjabi movie titled “Bailaras” starring Ammy Virk, Binnu Dhillon in the main lead. The movie will be releasing on 6 October 2017. However, the actress will also be seen in the Star Plus next show “Ikyawann“, which is a romantic drama. The show will revolve around a girl, who will be bullied for being the tallest in her college. The show also features a boy who belongs from a business family but would be least interested in joining his dad’s business.
About her new TV show, she said,”Yes I’m doing a new show ‘Ikyawann’ on Star Plus.” When asked about her Bollywood debut, she said, “Few proposals are under discussion but I cannot indulge any details as of now. But once something materializes, I will definitely share the details with you.”
She is also making Tamil debut with the movie titled “The Door”, which will be directed by Pious Raj. The shooting of the movie will start this year-end.
