He tested negative before but now he tests positive for COVID-19. The actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran tests positive for the virus while filming for his next, Jana Gana Mana. He shared this news on Twitter, and though asymptomatic, he has quarantined himself at his home.
Jana Gana Mana’s director, Dijo Jose had tested positive for the virus, along with other crew members. This promoted Prithviraj to get a test for the virus too.

The crew of Jana Gana Mana had started shooting as part of the government’s directive, to start shooting films with a crew of 100 people.
Prithviraj’s co-star in the film Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Covid tests is being awaited. While the shooting of the film is on hold now.
When India had gone into lockdown, Prithviraj along with a 58 member crew of his other film, Aadujeevitham, was stuck in Jordan for two months. To get them out, the government had sent a repatriation flight. They came back on May 22.
While at that time after returning from Jordan, he had tested negative for the virus, even though two crew members of the film had tested positive.
Well, we hope that he soon recovers from the virus and tests negative for the same.
