Priyanka Chopra, the Indian actress, says that she always wanted to be a filmmaker. Recently, at the Toronto International Film Festival, Priyanka Chopra showcased her first Northwestern film production ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’ and at the film festival she got an overwhelming response and this was the reason when she said that she always wanted to be a filmmaker.

Priyanka’s movie ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’, revolves around the story of three Nepalese children, how they got separated from their parents and the movie will also show their journey back home.

Today, Priyanka Chopra uploaded a video on her Instagram account, where she can be seen standing on a podium with the film’s director Paakhi A. Tyrewala and along with the festival artistic director Cameron Bailey.

Priyanka says that this is the very first time when the audience has seen the movie outside of their office at Purple Pebble Pictures and she feels proud that they were made a story like this. Priyanka shared the production banner Purple Pebble Pictures with her mother Madhu Chopra.

She even thanked the festival artistic director Cameron Bailey for giving her the opportunity to share the small movie but with a big message with a world audience. The movie ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’ is all about the children’s right, their refugee crisis and how does adult’s decision affects young kids in the small village in Sikkim.

Priyanka Chopra says that her heart swells when she saw people standing up and applauding their efforts and this is one of the reasons she wanted to be a filmmaker. The first look of the movie has been released at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
