In her quest to reach audiences all over the world, Priyanka Chopra has taken a giant stride. The actor, has signed a two year mutli-million deal with Amazon Prime. Priyanka concluded the deal, in a meeting with head of Amazon Studios, Jennifer Salke.
This news was first reported by ‘Variety’, to whom Salke further talked. In her interview with them, she said that the studio is happy and excited to collaborate with Priyanka.
While, Priyanka herself talking about the deal, in a statement said :
“My quest really is to be able to tell female stories, work with creators from around the world and create a cross-pollination of storytelling. Amazon is such a great partner to do that because their reach and outlook is so global. My Amazon television deal is a global deal, so I can do Hindi language, I can do English language, I can do whatever language I want.”
The actor, also took to Twitter to share this news with her fans. She tweeted :

Along with her recent new deal with Amazon, Priyanka also has other upcoming projects with the studio. She has an unscripted series, ‘Sangeet’ and Richard Madden’s show ‘Citadel’ with them. Further, she is also co-producing and starring in an Amazon produced film, on Ma Anand Sheela. Anand Sheela was an assistant of spiritual guru, Osho.
Priyanka is known for her work in films such as Barfi, Bajirao Mastani, Mary Kom, Agneepath and her hit tv series Quantico. She was last seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’, alongside Farhan Akhtar.
