It is turning out to be a good year for, Priyanka Chopra. After signing a multi-billion dollar deal with, Amazon Studios, she is now going to star in Matrix 4. Priyanka has been making huge steps in her career ever since she first entered Bollywood. Her hard work and charisma has definitely played a huge part in this.
Lana Wachowski is directing the fourth part in the Matrix Installment. Though, Priyanka has been casted in the film, nothing is decided about which role she’ll play as of yet. Apart from Priyanka, the film led by Keanu Reeves also stars actors such as Neil Patrick Harris, Carrie-Anne Moss and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
The film was supposed to release on 21, May 2021 but after delays in shooting, will now release on 4, April 2022. It has already started filming again, after COVID-19 had earlier halted the shoot.
Apart from directing, Lana Wachowski has also written the script for the film. The Matrix franchise has a massive fan following ever since the first film released in 1999.
Priyanka’s last film was ‘The Sky Is Pink’. Next she’ll appear in Netflix film ‘We Can Be Heroes’, directed by Robert Rodriguez. She is also doing ‘White Tiger’, an adaptation of award winning book by Aravind Adiga.
Matrix 4 which is a Warner Bros and Village Roadshow co-production, will look forward to replicate the success of previous films. Lead actor, Keanu Reeves had already piqued the interests of the franchise’s fans, with his claims that the film has an amazing script. Now, with Priyanka joining the cast, the film’s hype is set to skyrocket further.
