How can one get over the most loved Bachelor’s trip of Bollywood? With the most beautiful places and adventure sports clubbed into one film, with a pairing and trio so fresh, with songs so nice – ah! Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, was a pleasure to watch.
And what could be better? Sources reveal that Zoya Akhtar is supposedly willing to make a sequel to the film and is expected to begin work on it after the end of her current film’s shooting – Gully Boy.
Gully Boy starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will focus on the underground music prevalent in Mumbai and Singh will be seen playing a rapper.
“Zoya feels that the audience would be keen to know what the characters are up to in today’s time. The sequel will retain all the characters and the story will take a 10-year leap,” the source said.
“It is too early to talk about the same. Although the basic premise has been locked, Zoya will start working on the screenplay by end of this year once the final cut of Gully Boys is ready. If all goes as planned, the film would go on floors in the second half of 2019, ” the source continued.
We can’t wait for this thing to turn into reality!
