2014 blockbuster ‘Queen’ has been remade in four South Indian languages, viz, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada. And the trailer of all has been released on Friday almost at the same time. The films are just like the original one, shot to shot. Kangana Ranaut played the lead role in Vikas Bahl‘s directorial.

The story explores the journey of a young girls who has been ditched by her fiance just a day before her marriage. Then she decides to go on a honeymoon to Paris, alone, where she make some new friends, and meet people who change the course of her life.

The another common link, other than story, between all the four movies is, Amit Trivedi has given music to all of them. They all will release sometime in June, next year.

That Is Mahalakshmi: Telugu remake

Tamanaah is playing the role, which was originally played by Kangana Ranaut. It also stars stars Siddhu, Guillermo Uria Viar, Jeffrey Ho, Nikos Vatikiotis, Geetanjali, Roopa Lakshmi, CVL, Narsimha Rao, Shibani Dandekar, Clifton Brown and Samarth Ashok Hegde. Jeffery Ho was in the original movie also, playing the character Taka. The film is produced by Manu Kumaran.

Tamannah looks convincing in the role of a small town girl, a misfit in a foreign land.

Zam Zam: Malayalam version of ‘Queen’

Manjima Mohan is playing the lead role in this one, a girl from Thalassery, a small town in Kerala. The film is produced by Manu Kumaran and directed by G. Neelakanta Reddy. It stars Sunny Wayne as the male lead.

Butterfly: Kannada version

Indian film actress Parul Yadav will play Kangana’s part, in Kannada version of Hindi film ‘Queen. This film is also bankrolled bu Manu Kumaran and directed by Ramesh Aravind. The film stars Elli AvrRam, Varun Shashi Rao, Sudha Belawadi, and Bhargavi Narayan in supporting roles.

Paris Paris: Tamil version

Kajal Aggarwal with relive Kangana’s character in the Tamil remake of Vikas Bahl’s ‘Queen’. The film is directed by Ramesh Aravind and produced by Manu Kumaran. It also stars Elli Avram, Vinaya Prasad, Bhargavi Narayan, Varun Shashi Rao, Thirunavukkarasu, Garry Fischmann, Benoit Solès, Anatole Yun, Nagui Mehany, and Samarth Ashok Hegde.
