‘Raabta’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon had raised the expectations of an audience with its stunning trailer, that came with an epic twist. ‘Raabta’ is definitely one of the most awaited movies.

The trailer of the movie was released last month and it was received well by critics and masses alike. But then there were some, who thought that the film has an uncanny resemblance to SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Magadheera which starred Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles, a love story which also had a reincarnation angle just like Raabta.

Though actor Sushant Singh Rajput dismissed any similarity between the two films as in an interaction with media, he said, It is not a cliched reincarnation story. It’s a very modern take. There is a hero, heroine, a villain and they’re born again. I can make ten different films right now on paper which will have two brothers and a mother and the brothers are born again. It doesn’t mean that it’s Karan Arjun. But makers of Magadheera do not quite agree with Sushant as they have gone ahead and filed a legal suit against the producers of Raabta.

Further, said that Hyderabad court has issued a notice and posted the matter to June 1 to decide whether the film should be permitted to release on June 9. This might come in as a huge disappointment of all Sushant- Kriti’s fans who have been eagerly waiting for the film. Raabta also stars ‘Neerja’ fame Jim Sarbh and a cameo by Rajkummar Rao who plays a 324 year old man in the film.
