While the main cast of Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was revealed around a week ago, names of other cast members are still being disclosed. A few days ago Zarina Wahab was reported to play Salman Khan’s mother in the film. Now, Tamil actor Bharath Niwas has also joined the team.

However, this is not Bharath’s Bollywood debut. He was earlier seen in Kaizad Gustad’s 2013 film Jackpot. While an official announcement is awaited, it is believed that Bharath has been roped in to play one of the antagonists.

The actor took to his social media account to make the big announcement. He wrote on a Twitter post, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Happy and blessed to be part of #Radhe ..A dream come true to act along side the most wanted Bhai of indian cinema. Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Prabhu master. #radhee #eid2020”

Bharath, who has starred in over 30 Tamil films, currently has nearly half a dozen projects in his kitty. He awaits the release of Tamil films Kalidas, in which he has played a cop. This year so far Bharath had two releases – Pottu and Simba.

Bharat made his acting debut in 2003 via S. Shankar’s Boys, which also starred Siddharth and Genelia Deshmukh.

Coming back to Radhe, the shooting of the film started in Mumbai around a week ago. The Mumbai schedule will go on for a month after which Salman will get busy in the promotions of Dabangg 3 which is releasing in December this year. After completing this schedule, Salman will also go abroad in order to shoot some songs.

The film is reported to be the remake of a Korean film titled The Outlaws directed by Kang Yoon-Sung. According to media reports, the writers are trying their best to indianize the story well and also to lessen the violent and sexual content, which is there in abundance in the original script.

Produced by Sohail Khan, Radhe will mark the third collaboration between Salman Khan and Prabhudheva. The director helmed Salman’s 2009 release Wanted and the upcoming Dabangg 3.
