Indian content creators are becoming more innovative. They know, that they can’t rely on old gimmicks anymore. The audience has evolved, and so they have too. Capturing this innovative insect, soon a fresh Indian miniseries will come out on Disney+Hotstar. Titled as “OK Computer”, the series will be a science-fiction comedy.
Two of Bollywood’s most talented actors, Radhika Apte and Vijay Varma are starring in it. While Anand Gandhi, produces it, under his Memesys Culture Lab. At the moment, the series is at the post-production stage.
Looking to capture the interest of the audience, the makers released an official premise of the series, which read :
“OK Computer is a science-fiction comedy that will take the audience on a journey to a parallel world that is advanced and has never been experienced before at any level.”
The actor, Vijay Varma had a talk with PTI about the series, wherein he said:
“OK Computer is a miniseries, but it’s grand. I play a police officer in the future. It is something that has never been attempted before in India.”
He further elaborated that the show contains a mix of comedy, science-fiction, and mockumentary. The makers will announce its release date soon.
On the other hand, Vijay Varma appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s film, Yaara, which was released on Zee5 this year. This is the first time, both the actors are working together on a project.
It will be interesting to see, how they work with each other, and how the series will come together. Disney+Hotstar is basking with huge content. Several Bollywood films are already releasing on it, thus making COVID a blessing for them.
