Radhika Apte says

An India actress Radhika Apte will soon be seen in the MTV’s digital show titled ‘Fame- istan’ and she says that it has been a great learning process for her. Radhika will be seen mentoring an aspiring filmmaker in one of the episodes of the show titled ‘Fame-istan’.

About the show, she says that the show will be enabling four aspiring filmmakers who are having a dream of making a movie and they are being mentored by the top personalities of the Indian Film Industry. Every month, a film mentor will introduce the director of the month and then the director will have to call out to the actors and the people who want to be part of their short movies.

She feels that it is a great learning experience for her because she has never seen herself as somebody who can mentor anybody. However, she is looking at a personal collaborative effort where both of them can be benefited from each other. They can discuss a lot of things with each other and can give each other many opinions.

The filmmaker will be mentored after they will select the cast and the crew of the movie. Each short movie will be given a duration of one and half months and in that, they have to complete the movie. Once the movie has been shot then the mentor will give their verdict on the film.

Radhika says that this platform in itself is unique and very important because everything is changing and the film industry is becoming larger. Nowadays they are even having a digital platform and there is so much work available there. However, she feels that there are so many talented people in the country and they did not get an opportunity to work. She thinks that this platform is best and they can bring that and she feels that the makers of the show have taken a great initiative.
