Radhika Apte, is fiery, talented and a power house of intelligence. Her latest stint in ‘Padman’ has been widely appreciated, wanting all of us to know more about her. Known for her roles in ‘Phobia’, ‘Badlapur’ and several others – Apte has been well received by the industry.
Talking about her personal life, few may know that Radhika is a married woman! She’s married to musician Benedict Taylor, who happens to be of British origin. They tied the knot in 2012, and have been cuddled in the bond of matrimony for over 6 years now!
When we asked Radhika about her married life and long distance marriage, here’s what she said – “”I try and visit every couple of months and he also comes so we’re not away from each other for more than a month. It’s exhausting and very expensive also,” she was quoted saying by Film Companion.
“Imagine making three trips in two months, and that too last-minute ones because suddenly I got a week off. It’s such an expensive lifestyle – two houses in two of the most expensive cities in the world and 2-3 tickets a month to travel back and forth every month,” she says justifying her flying in economy class always.
The two met, when Radhika was in London to learn contemporary dance.
