The Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan starrer has hit the Box office again. Not only the Indian crowd but all over the world it has set up a new bench mark. It broke a number of records on its way to claiming the number one spot at the 2017 box-office in India.
‘Raees’ had to share box-office business with the Hrithik Roshan revenge-drama ‘Kaabil’. Though their release dates clashed, the film went on to record the highest ever weekend collection in January besides witnessing the highest ever day collections with two or more releases.
The film that released on January 25, has gone on to collect an impressive Rs 62.56 crore (approximately USD 9.2 million) in the overseas market within six days of its release. However, it should be noted that some screens and territories are yet to report their figures. With the gross domestic collections amounting to an estimated Rs 152.61 crore, the film’s worldwide box-office collection now stands at an estimated Rs 215.17 crore.
