SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR, which has recently won several international honours, again made a historic victory at the global level. RRR was nominated for the two categories- Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song. While the revolutionary drama missed out on the Best Non-English Language Film, it has bagged Best Original Song for the popular track ‘Naatu Naatu.’

The director SS Rajamouli recently shared the great news on his social media. Sharing a video from the Globe Awards, he wrote, “SPEECHLESS Music truly knows no boundaries. Congratulations & thank you PEDDANNA for giving me #NaatuNaatu. This one is special.:) I thank each & every fan across the globe for shaking their leg & making it popular ever since the release. #GoldenGlobes

The song was picturised on Jr. NTR and Ram Charan for SS Rajamouli’s revolutionary drama RRR.

Music composer M.M. Keeravani helmed the power-packed track ‘Naatu Naatu.’ Sung by Rahul Sipligunj, Kaala Bhairava and M. M. Keeravani, the energetic song features Ram Charan and Jr. NTR flaunting their killer dance moves at a British party in the film. The song has also been dubbed in the Hindi language for the audience.

The song marks the historic victory of India on the global platform. RRR was being represented at the Golden Globe Awards by the director SS Rajamouli, music composer MM Keeravani and the duo stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. It is an honour for the entire nation to achieve such a milestone for the first time ever in history. All thanks to the RRR team.

The period drama depicts the story of two freedom fighters Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. It features their journey to fight against British cruelty and stand for their people. The magnum opus stars Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in key roles.
