The superstar with one of the biggest follower base in the country, Rajinikanth will be seen meeting his fans starting May 15th. This announcement comes after over 8 years since he did something like this.
Sources close to Rajinikanth confirmed the move and stated that he will meet his die-hard fans between May 15th and May 18th. However, the actor is not expected to hold any discussion with the fans and will only pose for pictures with them.
66 year old Rajinikanth, who is literally worshipped in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, has started to send out the communications to various fans and fan clubs. The meeting will take place in slots and more details on this are awaited.
He was supposed to hold one such event last month, however, after the request for individual pics with the fans, organisers cancelled the event saying something of the sort requires more time. He had held the last such event way back in 2009, after the success of his movie, Shivaji.
Rajini is currently working on his next project, Robot 2. The much discussed movie also casts Akshay Kumar in a negative role.
