The second collaboration of ‘Stree’ actor and producer Rajkumar Rao and Dinesh Vijan has finally got a name. The duo is coming together for another horror comedy titled ‘Rooh-Afza’ which will also star ‘Fukrey’ fame Varun Sharma. This will be the first collaboration of producers Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
Movie critic and biz analyst Taran Adarsh made an official announcement regarding the project’s title on his twitter handle. He wrote, “#NewsAlert: Producers Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s first collaboration – a horror-comedy – gets a title… It will be called Rooh-Afza… Stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma… Director and remaining cast yet to be finalised.”

The film was announced on 17 December last year and Taran made it official on Twitter. He wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL… After the humongous success of #Stree, producer Dinesh Vijan and actor Rajkummar Rao team up for a horror-comedy yet again… Not titled yet… Costars Varun Sharma… #Fukrey director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba is the creative director… Starts early 2020.”

Taran disclosed Rajkumar’s role in the film, in his another tweet which read, “More on producer Dinesh Vijan and actor Rajkummar Rao project… Rajkummar Rao plays a small-time goon whose plans go haywire when he has supernatural encounters… Filming starts early 2019… Jan 2020 release.”
