‘Newton’, starring National Award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The poster of the film was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon by the actor through his Twitter account. The first poster features Rajkummar Rao on the run with the EVM, shielded by a helmet and a military vest. Also, the poster’s caption ‘Seedha Aadmi Ulti Duniya’ catches our attention.

Directed by Amit Masurkar, the movie is about the character of Newton Kumar, a rookie clerk on election duty in a Naxal-controlled town in the conflict-ridden jungle of Chhattisgarh, who tries his best to conduct free and fair voting.
‘Newton’ got a standing ovation at its world premiere at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival and also won the CICAE Art Cinema Award in the Forum segment.
Along with Rajkummar Rao, the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil, Raghuvir Yadav and Sanjay Mishra. The movie will be releasing on August 18.
