It was recently announced that Rakul and Arjun Kapoor will be paired for director-producer Nikkhil Advani’s cross border drama comedy film about a dysfunctional family.
Rakul was recently seen in a cameo appearance as a courtesan Aarzoo in the action thriller ‘Marjaavaan’, directed by Milap Zaveri.
The film, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, was released this friday and met with negative reviews with criticism towards its outdated and predictable plot and the dialogues.
The film, which was released along with ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’, has performed well at the box-office with 7 crore collection in its opening day.
