Another big project Rakul has bagged is Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in for a pivotal role and she will be paired opposite Siddharth.
Rakul had expressed her happiness on the role and in an interview with TOI said, “It’s a sequel to one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema and I’m really kicked about being a part of it. I was excited when I was offered the role because it’s a Shankar-Kamal Haasan combination and getting a chance to work with legends like that so early in my career is an opportunity I did not want to miss. Though I am yet to sign it officially, I’m looking forward to start shooting for it”.
