RGV strikes again! Shares a picture of Sania Mirza, gets slammed!

Indian filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma surprised his fans with the announcement of making an acting debut. The director-producer took to Twitter to share the first poster of the film titled ‘Cobra’, in which he can be seen holding a gun in one hand and a cigarette in other.

With the surprising poster, Varma wrote, “Ahem! On the occasion of my birthday today, I am debuting as an actor for the first time in my career ..I wouldn’t mind if u don’t bless me ..Thanks.”

In his other tweet, he revealed about his role and wrote, “COBRA is a bilingual being made in Hindi and Telugu…It is a biopic of the most dangerous criminal that ever existed in the criminal history of India…A new actor KG is playing the protagonist and I am playing an intelligence officer #Cobra”

Varma will also be directing and producing the flick under his production banner Gun Shot Films, which also stars stage artiste Ranga Rao as the Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

The film is based on the most dreadful criminals ever, whose name hasn’t been revealed in the poster, but the tagline says, “If he is arrested, half the police department will be thrown into the jail”.

Varma will play the role of CBI Officer in the film. He is known to be the most controversial filmmakers of the industry and is noted for his work in ‘Satya’, ‘Company’, and ‘Sarkar’.

RGV has won National Film Award for scripting the political crime drama, ‘Shool’. His debut Tamil film ‘Siva’ was a crime thriller drama, which was released in 1989. It won RGV Nandi Awards for Best Direction, the Best first film of a director, and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu. It was also screen at 13th International Film Festival of India.
