Man’s eccentricities are what make him unique. Filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma who is one such eccentric man, is soon going to release his biopic. Yes! We are not kidding, the director himself took to Twitter to share this news.

Divided into three parts, each part of the film will explore a different phase of the director’s life.

The first part of the biopic will see, a young actor playing Ramu. The second one will see another actor playing the role, while the third will see Ramu playing himself.

The maverick director posted the following tweet as the film’s announcement :

Having led an eventful life, the film will explore each part of his life. The first part will showcase his college days, first love, and his involvement in gang-fights of Vijayawada. Further, it’ll show how he manipulated and made his now cult film Shiva.

Part two of the film will contain his life in Mumbai with girls, gangsters, and Amitabh Bachchan. Rounding off the biopic is part three, which will show his radical views on “God, sex, and society”.

To make this a reality, Ramu has got Bommaku Murali, who’ll produce the film under his banner, Bommaku Creations. Though the film is a biopic on Ramu, he himself is not directing the film, instead, he’ll write its script. Debutant director, Dorasai Teja will direct it. Shooting for the same is expected to start in September this year.

Ram Gopal Varma or RGV as he is popularly called is known for directing films such as Satya, Sarkar, Company, Sarkar 2, and its sequel. His Gangster Trilogy and Indian Political trilogy films have been hailed as the most influential on Indian Cinema.

He is also a recipient of the National Award for scripting the political crime drama, Shool (1999).

Well, indeed Ramu is a man of different perspectives and it will be interesting to see what and how he will present his biopic. No matter what, it can be easily said that there is no one like him. A unique and multi-talented man indeed.
