The screens were lit and the hearts skipped a beat whenever Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone came together on the silver screen. The two were considered as one of the hottest couple on-screen and off-screen in Bollywood.

The duo parted their ways later but gave us memorable Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. Now if reports are to be believed, we might get to watch them sharing the screen space again.

According to a report on Deccan Chronicle, Ranbir Kapoor’s dates for the Luv Ranjan film have been allotted for February, and the shoot with Deepika Padukone will begin soon.

The report quoted trade sources, “The film is a romantic comedy, and both the actors have not only given the nod but also allotted dates from February onwards. While Deepika is also handling dual roles as an actress and a producer with films like Chhapaak and ’83 coming up, Ranbir has been shooting for Shamshera and Brahmastra, and has already allotted his dates. Ranbir and Deepika’s reunion in a TV commercial for a paint brand has reinforced the belief in their chemistry, and thus they will be doing their fourth film together after Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.”

Earlier, Ajay Devgan was also supposed to be part of the film but the recent reports suggest that he is not involved in the project.

Recently, rumours were doing the rounds that Deepika Padukone might not work with Luv Ranjan as he was accused by a woman of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement in 2018.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak which is under post production. She has also co-produced the film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. She is also filming for Kabir Khan’s 83 where she will be seen sharing the screen space with husband Ranveer Singh.

On the other hand, Ranbir is working on his next Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt helmed by Ayan Mukerji.  He is also working on Karan Malohotra’s directorial Shamshera where he will be seen sharing the screen space with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
