Pahlaj Nihalani’s directorial ‘Rangeela Raja’ finally got clearance from the censor board and a new release date of the film is finalized. Govinda starrer will now release on January 11, 2019, along with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and ‘Amavas’.
Govinda will be seen playing the double role of twin brothers in the movie, one brother is secular and spoilt, the other one has become a saint. Digangana Suryavanshi is cast opposite the actor. The director-actor duo, Govinda and Pahlaj, are back together after 25 years. They worked together in three Bollywood blockbusters like ‘Ilzaam’, ‘Shola Aur Shabnam’ and ‘Aankhen’.

By the teaser, it is clear that it is a family entertainer light comedy movie and Govinda is back with his known energy and his signature expression by his eyebrows while delivering a dialogue. The film also stars Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Govind Namdeo, Shyamlal Yadav, Mishika Chourasia, Anupama Agnihotri, Karishma Harshada and Arti Gupta. The movie is produced by Sikander Bharti. The film is set in Rajasthan.
