Ranveer Singh will be seen in the role of former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev, in a trilingual movie. The director Kabir Khan is all set to start the shooting of sports-drama ’83. According to the latest reports, the director along the star cast of the film is headed to Mohali for a boot camp ahead of their first schedule.

Kabir has organized a two-week long cricket camp for the team in Mohali in April. Players like Kapil Dev, Yashpal Sharma, Madan Lal, other players who have been a part of Ranji Trophies are to join this cricket camp in Mohali.

Cricketers like Kapil Dev, Madan Lal, Yashpal Sharma with others will give their expert tricks, interact with the actors and train them with master techniques. This activity will help the actors to train and play with the current cricket teams, who are the part of state-level cricket and Ranji Trophies from all across the country.

Before the training camp, the makers of the film has also organized a meet and greet session for the cast at the end of February. This session is organized for actors to create bonds as the film reportedly boasts of about 11 actors including Ammy Virk as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Tamil actor Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth and the latest edition in the form of YouTuber Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani.
