Riva Kishan, daughter of Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan, is all set to make her debut with the upcoming film Sab Kushal Mangal that also features actors Priyaank Sharma (Padmini Kolhapure’s son) and Akshaye Khanna. She recently opened about her first film and her co-actors.
The actor admitted that she wanted to enter films later. “I had wanted to travel and do acting workshops all over the world before making a beginning in showbiz,” she said during an interview with Mumbai Mirror.
Riva shared that she had a great time working with Priyaank as they shared a great bonding even before the shooting started. It was actually working with Akshaye Khanna that she got overwhelmed about. “Even in my wildest dreams, I couldn’t have imagined it. He gave me so much confidence and warmth, made everything easy for me,” the 23 years old actor told the news daily.
She also spoke about the ongoing debate around nepotism in the film industry. She admitted that being labelled as a product of nepotism does not bother her as she cannot keep getting films for life just because she is the daughter of Ravi Kishan. “I’ll get a maximum of three films because of my dad, but who is going to invest in me after that? It’s my talent that will help me survive,” she said.
