The makers of the upcoming Indian spy thriller movie, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘ have revealed the release date today. The movie is said to be the sequel to the 2012 movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and this marks the second installment of Tiger film series. The movie features Salman Khan, DJ Talib, Katrina Kaif, Angad Bedi, Paresh Rawal, Girish Karnad and Sudeep. The movie which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra.
Today, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the release date for the upcoming movie titled ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “Tiger in action mode… #TigerZindaHai… 22 Dec 2017 release… Stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif… Ali Abbas Zafar directs.”

The new poster has been released along with the release date today. In the poster, Salman Khan can be seen with the wielding an MG 42, which is a massive machine gun and this photo has been used for the promotional photos. However, Salman will fire a gun in the action sequence and that forms a crucial part of the movie’s plot. The gun which Salman Khan is holding in the poster weights 25-30 kg and the gun has a magazine of cartridges attached to it and that is making the gun heavier.
However, the movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is all set to entertain the audience this Christmas. About this director of the movie Ali Abbas Zafar said that when there is a superstar like Salman Khan in there in the movie, who is very well known for pulling the weight for a movie’s action then you should have weaponry that will suit to his nature and also fits in with the scale of Tiger Zinda Hai.
This scene shows the fight sequence and that is a very crucial part of the chapter and the movie needs that many heavy weapons to match up to the scale and impact of this moment. Moreover, he says that for this particular scene Salman has fired 5000 cartridges in an over 3 consecutive days. The makers kept the two weapons ready for the use and while this it generates to heat and so they do not have any other option they have to work in a very hot condition.
However, the movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is a sequel to the 2012 movie which is directed by Kabir Khan and in the movie, both the lead actor will resume their roles as Zoya and Tiger. The movie has been shot in Tyrol and in Austria. However, the last leg of the shoot being in Abu Dhabi. According to the reports, both the actors (Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif) are shooting the special song for the film in Greece.
